Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) in Port St. Lucie, FL

Any questions? See our FAQ guide below.

Q. How often should I change my oil?

A. We usually follow manufacturer's recommendations for oil change intervals, but on older cars that used conventional oil, we can extend the recommended intervals (commonly to 6,000 miles or 6 months) because we only use full-synthetic oils.

Q. Do I need to make an appointment to bring my car in?

A. It's always best to call ahead and make an appointment, but we understand there are occasionally special situations/emergencies. In those situations we may be able to get to your car a bit sooner if you can leave it with us so we can try to "sneak it in."

Q. What will my repairs cost and how long will it take?

A. Your car is a VERY complex makeup of parts and associated systems, so it will take careful diagnosis to figure out exactly what should be repaired; only after the diagnosis is completed can we give you an estimate of costs involved and a timeline for completing repairs.

Q. Can you just add freon (refrigerant) to my A/C system?

A. Yes, but we strongly recommend allowing us to complete a diagnosis of the underlying problem. Your car's air conditioning system is a closed loop, meaning that there is no reason it should be low on freon unless there is a leak somewhere, so just adding freon will not fix the problem but instead be an expensive and completely temporary bandaid.

Q. Do you sell tires and do you keep my size in stock?

A. We can source and install any tire you need, unfortunately due to the almost infinite number of options for size, manufacturer and compound type we cannot stock what every customer might need or want. That said, we can order what you need and in most cases have it in stock the next day.
